Winter is approaching and gradually days are getting colder. You’re in-unit baseboard heaters do well at keeping your apartment warm but here are some tips to give them an extra push:
1.Remove all air conditioners from windows. Air drafts can be coming into your apartments from its openings.
2.Make sure all windows are closed and locked properly to keep drafts at bay.
Even in buildings with energy-efficient windows, cold winter air sometimes makes its way in. Place draft stoppers on sills and consider applying a window film kit. Contact your building manager or landlord for approval before applying adhesive materials to windows.
3. Check your baseboard heaters
If you have furniture blocking the baseboards, you are blocking heat from getting into the room. Move the couch away from the radiator and the room should warm up faster.
